The commonly used slag loading machine in tunnel and roadway, also known as rock loading machine, is now replaced by backhoe loader (bucket slag loading machine). It requires short size, sturdiness and durability, convenient and simple operation, free walking, high production efficiency, continuous and non-intermittent operation, and environmental protection. The running mode of slag loading machine (rock loading machine) is tire type, track type and track type. According to the arm bucket type of the slag loading machine, it can be divided into four types: bucket type; crab claw type; vertical claw type; digging bucket type. The first three are in the construction practice is slowly replaced by the bucket type. Intermittent cannot be continuous, reciprocating inflexible, low working ability, large dust caused by no * *, inhumane operation, small rock block requirement, limited slope and other defects.

The tire type slag loading machine is only suitable for small models working in a space of 1.7 meters, and can only work in flat roadways. Its disadvantages are that it is prone to skidding, subsidence and scratching tires in soil and water surrounding rock and hard surrounding rock tunnel roadways, with low benefits and low feeding power. Its advantages are ultra-small space for slag loading and ore loading, which is cheaper but more cost-effective than labor. Rail-type slag skimming machine is suitable for supporting rail transportation and saving, but its working range is limited, and it is more troublesome to lay rails and cannot work on slopes. Its advantages are moderate price, high efficiency, large feeding intensity and large and large amount of materials. The crawler type slag loading machine combines all the above advantages and disadvantages, but the initial investment is more expensive, but the benefit is greatly doubled and the construction period cost is reduced to the existing lower point.
